It all started at... the Outback!! David went out for dinner, Melissa was meeting her friend Laura for a glass of wine. A few hours of fun banter and "David Outback" was her new friend (as added to her phone by Wendi).

The following week, David text to ask her what she was doing – she told him, deciding which drive through to visit for dinner (it had been a long 14 hour day at work!). He replied, “I can do better than that” and in a flash, Chinese takeout and 2 bottles of wine (he couldn’t remember if she was a red wine or white wine girl) was on her doorstep with the handsomest delivery man ever!!

From that day, we both knew we had something so special. We both loved Disney, family, traveling, and so many fun times with friends!! Did we mention his mom is my bestie’s neighbor?!! Oh…we also both were into crazy things…like running. In fact, the day we learned his mom is Bern’s neighbor is the day I (Melissa) met his son Kyle and his (now wife) Victoria, who was doing the same 5k in Tampa.

After 4 ½ years of dating, surviving COVID lockdown, a few cruises, other fun trips together, many visits to Disney, trips to Michigan, and as many baseball games as we could squeeze in, David popped the question and SHE SAID YES!!

We are so excited to take the next FOREVER step together and with all of you! We couldn’t be happier or more blessed!
